Care Guide
Protect your investment with a simple routine built for raw, single-donor hair. Follow these steps to keep your extensions soft, shiny, and tangle-free.
Wash day
Detangle gently from ends to roots before getting hair wet. Use lukewarm water and a sulfate-free shampoo — focus on the scalp and weft area, not the mid-lengths. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wash every 7–14 days, or when product buildup appears
- Never rub hair together; squeeze and rinse downward
- Pat dry with a microfiber towel — do not wring
Condition & moisture
Apply a moisturizing conditioner from mid-shaft to ends. Leave on 5–10 minutes under a shower cap for extra hydration. Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle.
For curly and wavy textures, follow with a leave-in conditioner and light oil on the ends only.
Drying & heat
Air-dry whenever possible. If you use a blow dryer, use low heat and a diffuser on curly textures. Always apply a heat protectant before flat ironing or curling — keep tools under 350°F (175°C).
Night routine
Braid hair loosely or wrap in a silk scarf before bed. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and preserve your install.
Storage between wears
Store clean, fully dry hair in a breathable satin bag. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity. Lightly mist with leave-in before reinstalling if hair feels dry.
What to avoid
- Heavy oils at the root or lace base
- Products with alcohol, sulfates, or heavy silicones
- Brushing wet hair aggressively
- Chlorine and salt water without rinsing immediately after
